A bit of history

In 2013, after having worked together for several years as business English coaches, we decided to establish an innovative company where new and dynamic concepts are applied. Our main goal has been to offer a quality service within a relaxed and comfortable working environment.

Being result orientated, the communication process is based on a personal and interactive relationship between student and trainer. All of our courses and workshops are tailored to your individual needs, discussed at the beginning of every contract.

Our aim is to improve your technical ability in the use of the English language through practice and preparation.

Gerard le Roux

After completing a degree in psychology and communication at the University of South Africa, concurrently studying opera and music, Gèrard LeRoux became a member of the opera ensemble of the State Theatre in Pretoria. His opera career spanned over a period of thirty years.
In 2009 Gèrard decided to change direction. Specializing as communication consultant, applying the experience he had gained in the theatre and on the stage, he now consults and supports business executives who need to hone their skills in Business English.
Together with René and Nick, Gèrard founded LeRoux Brown Lopez Business Language Services in 2013, supplying Business English services across Germany.

René Brown

After obtaining a degree in Occupational Psychology in Quito, Ecuador, René moved to Germany in 2001. Over the years he has become more and more involved with languages and with the issues surrounding the organization of Business English courses in different companies. René also obtained a certification for English-Spanish translation from the UNED in Madrid and a BA in British Studies from the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz.

Working with people from a wide range of occupations continues to be one of René’s main interests, which he also shares with Nick and Gerard, his friends and partners at LBL.

Nicholas Lopez

Nicholas has been training Business English to employees since 2005. He comes from a diverse and dynamic work environment and has performed trainer duties in Security, Pre-Hospital Patient Care and Transportation. His work experience gives him a unique insight into interpersonal communication and how it connects to language. He is a follower of the ideas of Simon Sinek and an avid reader of history and politics. One of his mottos to live by: “the man who says he can and can’t, are both correct.”
